Insidious 2 – coming Summer 2013
Fans of the 2011 film Insidious will be excited to hear the sequel will be rolling into production after the first of the year and is due to hit theaters this Summer. The official projected date is August 30th. **(UPDATE: September 13, 2013 – see below)
Members of the original cast, including Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne, are reported to be returning in the 2013 sequel. Director James Wan, currently attached to direct the film version of the upcoming MacGyver, is also set to return.

Insidious cost a reported 1.5M and earned $97M worldwide, leading some to call the film among the most profitable of 2011. Despite suffering from Paranormal fatigue, I feel compelled to follow the story of Insidious. What about you?
